Summer Youth Project 2019
Peter Pan - An Awfully Big Musical Adventure
Mayflower Production's Summer Youth Project for 2019 was the fun and exciting family adventure, Peter Pan an Awfully Big Musical Adventure. This year our summer youth project was especially written for the company – a fresh new adaptation of the story of Peter Pan – the boy who never grew up with classical and contemporary songs for all the family.
Summer Youth Project 2018
Les Misérables School Edition & Revolution
Mayflower Production's Summer Youth Project for 2018 was the epic and uplifting story about the survival of the human spirit, Les Misérables School Edition. This year we were also able to offer local young people with a passion for dance, an opportunity to take part in creating a new piece as well as some elements of our Summer Youth Project of Les Misérables School Edition.
Revolution gave local young dancers the opportunity to work and devise with choreographer Rebecca Leonard on a new short piece inspired by the themes of Les Misérables and presented as a double bill with Les Misérables School Edition at all performances. In addition to this the members of the Revolution dance company also joined the chorus for some of the full company numbers in the Les Misérables School Edition.

This unique project involved ZooNation creatives working with local young people aged 10-18 to recreate and re-imagine this well-loved story.
